2. Full spectrum antioxidant oil
With sweat and pollution causing skin to feel congested, and SPF gaining priority, many of us give into the temptation to ditch lotions and creams during the summer months. At the same time, air conditioning, travelling and UV exposure can erase moisture from the skin, leaving it dehydrated and stressed.

3. Daily no brainers for all skin types
1. Double cleansing in evenings. The first cleanse will remove surface-level grime, like makeup, sweat and SPF, allowing your second cleanse to purify pores and prevent congestions. It’s perfectly fine to use the same cleanser twice, or try using our Purity Paste as an express purifying treatment. Just add a splash of water to turn the paste into fluffy cream texture and apply on damp skin. Avoiding eyes area, massage in before rinsing off. Tip: use a damp face cloth to pat and wipe off Purity Paste first, to ensure it’s thoroughly removed. Follow with your normal cleanser for a second cleanse. Clean skin is smooth, fresh, healthier and brighter-looking, and able to soak up serums or moisturisers you might smooth on after.
2. Year round protection with SPF. UVA rays are strongest during the summer months, use daily SPF to protect skin, and up your SPF to 50 throughout the summer. This will not only help shield your skin from sunburn and skin cancer, but also reduce hyperpigmentation and fine lines from forming. Tip: re-apply SPF regularly throughout the day to ensure you’re getting the full protection.
3. Choose non-comedogenic products. All Saint Iris products are formulated to not clog pores and help all skin types remain clear of any signs of congestion and stress whilst providing ample nourishment. Tip: although super sensorial, avoid products with shea butter and coconut oil as they are comedogenic ingredients and too rich for most oily and hormonal skin types.
4. Wear a hat and keep hydrated. Simple lifestyle tweaks can do wonders to take the stress out of skin care. Also, opt for cooling foods to reduce body’s heat and sweating. Fruits such as melons and strawberries, and vegetables including celery, cucumber, and cauliflower are great seasonal options and can be eaten raw in salads. Alternatively, add a bit of ice into smoothies since yogurt is also a cooling food. Delish!
